Beginning Therapy with Clarity
THERAPY IS BOTH A PERSONAL AND FINANCIAL COMMITMENT. THE INFORMATION BELOW EXPLAINS HOW EACH SERVICE IS STRUCTURED, WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO PAY, AND HOW SCHEDULING AND RESCHEDULING WORK.
Weekly therapy sessions are $245 per 45-minute session. Sessions are held consecutively each week. Please see the cancellation and rescheduling policy below.
Therapy intensives, couples therapy, and evaluations have separate fee structures.

Scheduling & Rescheduling
Your Weekly Appointment
During your consultation, we will identify a time for your initial intake and discuss availability for ongoing weekly sessions. Your recurring weekly appointment time is reserved for you.
When You Need to Reschedule
When you know in advance that you will miss a session, please request a schedule change at least seven days before your appointment.
Make-up sessions may be scheduled the week before, during the same week, or the week following the original appointment, subject to availability. Make-up sessions are held virtually while you are located in California.
Cancellations
Make-up appointments are not guaranteed. If you cannot attend your original appointment and a make-up session cannot be completed within the permitted window, the original appointment is considered a cancellation and the session fee applies. Weekly clients receive one courtesy unplanned cancellation within each 52-week period. You are not charged when Dr. Pipkins cancels or for regularly observed practice holidays.
Ending Weekly Therapy
You may stop weekly therapy at any time. The session scheduled for the week you notify me remains payable. Any prepaid sessions for subsequent weeks will be fully refunded, and no further payments will be charged.
For example, if your appointment is on Wednesday and you let me know on Monday that you’re stopping, that Wednesday’s session remains payable, but sessions from the following week onward do not.
Insurance, Superbills & Payment
Dr. Pipkins does not accept insurance. Superbills are available upon request for clients with out-of-network reimbursement benefits. Reimbursement is determined by your insurance provider and cannot be guaranteed.
Advance payments are applied to sessions as they occur. Superbills reflect completed therapy sessions and their individual dates of service.
